They record an album.
The four guys are in a band called Namasté.
The album is called Outside Is Endless.
Listening to this album is like going on a journey to an
unknown place. You are excited and you don‘t know what to expect. So you start listening and you hear the
lyrics and you keep listening and you can’t stop listening. Namasté create an atmosphere, the band makes you feel you are right there, with the band, watching them play. At the same time, you are away, at this unknown place. The Music is powerful, dark at times and very lively. These four guys are wise beyond their age. Their songs are quite complex, the music sounds like music created by people who have experienced all upsides and downsides of life. They are still very young, which is even more exceptionell – being able to write such music and clever lyrics at such a young age. I met them at the Nova Rock Festival 2007 and they told me their influences and what they listen to: "Joy Division, Radiohead, Pink Floyd, Hardrock in general – and of course The Beatles." Beatles? "Yes, I hear them everywhere. I am sure that other people will find other influences in the songs when they listen to 'Outside Is Endless'." The more you listen to Namasté's debut album, the more new information and details you heard. I can only recommend this album written by London’s four piece Namasté to you. Have a listen and you won’t stop listening. The band plans to go back to London, but there will be a few chances to see them live before they do so. Check them out! Namasté. (Nadia Baha)
